Multi-Stakeholder Policy

Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited is committed to appropriate multi-stakeholder collaboration in light of the growing importance of value creation not only with shareholders but also with employees, suppliers, customers, creditors, local communities, and other diverse stakeholders in our corporate management. In addition, we will promote the following initiatives from the viewpoint that the appropriate distribution of earnings and outcomes generated through value co-creation and productivity improvement to multi-stakeholder groups will lead to the maintenance of momentum for wage increases and sustainable economic development, and from the perspective that it is important to give back to employees and give consideration to suppliers.

Details

  1. Giving Back to Employees
We focus on maximizing added value through efforts for sustainable growth and productivity improvement by prioritizing investment of management resources in growth areas, developing the potential of employees, and improving their abilities and skills. In addition, we aim to continuously give back to our employees. Based on the earnings and results generated, we raise wages in an appropriate manner based on the company’s own situation, in accordance with the established rules for determining wages. For other comprehensive improvements to employee compensation and benefits, we also make proactive efforts centered on human resources investment to enhance employee engagement and further improve productivity.
Specifically, with respect to wage increases, we conduct “performance evaluations” based on the degree to which employees achieve their goals and “action evaluations” based on the degree to which they demonstrate actions that lead to results, based on our personnel evaluation system with “duties and roles” standards, and appropriately reflect the results and contributions of employees in their compensation and benefits. In addition, with regard to investment in human resources, we promote employee growth by providing rank-specific and specialty-based training, self-development support measures, and other means so that all employees can build their own careers independently while increasing productivity and supporting the growth of the organization. Through these measures, we enhance employee job satisfaction and create a healthy and dynamic corporate culture.
  2. Consideration for Suppliers
We will continue to make efforts to comply with the contents of the Declaration of Partnership Building.
